harrowing, hottie, halloween

harrowing:
1. midterms
J-to-tha-iddy Didi10 is coming out of hiding, tell P. Diddy to watch out and fitty (cent, that is) to "buck" up because this Didi of the 50 (37, that is) has three more weeks of procrastination until her next exams!
2. bike riding
so, the other night Brett recommends that if I'm changing gears and want to make sure i'm in the right one, i should "look down" and assess the diagonal trajectory of my chain . . . too bad that when i'm on my bike my blood pressure is so high that my eyes are bulging out of my head and all a novice can do to keep her whits about her is look intensely at the road (uneven pavement = worst nightmare) or for pedestrians (yes, i'm riding on sidewalks) or try to listen for "on your left" from testosterone-filled competitive Burke riders who might run you over. the crash described below sounds awful, i probably wouldn't survive it considering i'm wearing a mushroom-shaped helmet that doesn't fit. oh, where's the nice helmet that you brought from home, janie? yeah, my roommate who gets 50% off at the bike shop is borrowing it.

hottie (s)

can we get them on here?
and speaking of hotties in our house, when does jason get back?

halloween
1. roe's party
i hope you all have had a chance to peruse the evite for the roe's party on saturday, i was flowin' with the '70's sitcom deal, but we can be 'fruit of the loom' (shea, year 8) or 'fairies and pirates' or whatever. my family has a constume box, too, so we can raid it on saturday afternoon.
2. monday
i'm signing up to cook a Halloween meal as a "soaker" for anyone who's going out. i plan to hang the pumpkin lights outside and hand out candy if any kiddos come by.

happy lunch hour and friday afternoon!
